Aditya Sushant Enters Day 3 Of Little One

India’s first WSOP bracelet winner Aditya Sushant continues his hot run. After getting several big scores at the ongoing WSOP series, the Chennai Pro is again in headlines and this time for entering Day 3 of Event #68: $1,111 The Little One for One Drop No-Limit Hold’em as second in chips, just behind the US player Justin Liberto who leads the final 125 with staggering 1,399,000 chips.

Sushant won India’s first ever gold bracelet last year when he took down the WSOP Tag Team Event with Nipun Java. Looking at his chip stack and the way he is going in this event, chances are that he will repeat his last year’s achievement. He will start Day 3 with a huge stack of 1,341,000. Sushant has already notched up two cashes at the ongoing WSOP series and tomorrow he will be getting his third cash. His largest cash at this year’s WSOP still remains $ 20,969, which he got for his final table finish in the $ 1,000 No Limit Hold’em – Online Championship (Event #61).

The Little One for One Drop No-Limit Hold’em drew a massive field with 4,732 entries in total, but only 581 runners progressed to Day 2, including several Indians, namely Paawan Bansal, Aditya Sushant, Sanjay Taneja, Tarun Ravi, Aditya Singh, Sriharsha Doddapaneni and the Indian origin player Nipun Java. Now after Day 2 end, there are only 125 players remaining in the field.

Among the final 125 moving into Day 3, there are many notables in the hunt for the bracelet and some of those players are Jeff Gross (788,000), 888poker Ambassador Dominik Nitsche (710,000), Kyle Keranen (551,000), Juan Vecino (424,000), Mike Shin (397,000), Benjamin Moon (282,000), Dietrich Fast (221,000), Georgios Sotiropoulos (203,000), Dutch Boyd (146,000), etc.

The only other Indian player remaining in the mix is Sanjay Taneja holding 203,000 in chips. We congratulate both Sushant and Taneja for their amazing show in this event and wish them good luck for tomorrow’s play when they will be returning to the felts for their dream bracelet and first place prizemoney $559,332. A total $4,258,800 prizepool has been created with a minimum payout of$1,500.
